What We Do


Goals of the Indiana Chapter:

Sharing of information, expertise, technical assistance and professional assistance among CACs

  Coordinating and providing training for staffs of CACs to enhance their professional skills

Identifying, developing and sharing funding plans among CACs

Ensuring national best practice standards are used statewide

Securing and disbursing funds to carry out its goals

Helping improve each community’s response to child abuse

 

Services Provided by State Chapter:

Bi-monthly meetings offering opportunities to network, train and problem
solve for Chapter members and professionals from across the state  

Technical assistance/mentoring to help those communities interested in developing children’s advocacy centers

Training opportunities including:  forensic interviewing, peer review, risk management, fundraising, grant writing and other discipline-specific training

Promoting and providing assistance to CACs trying to meet membership requirements and standards of the National Children’s Alliance
